MINISTRY PHILOSOPHY
The HIV/AIDS pandemic is the greatest health and social crisis in human history.
Sub-Saharan Africa is the most vulnerable region with 70% of all worldwide infections.
The challenge remains: How do we infiltrate these remote communities with education
and health care materials? Who will care for the children who are orphaned by this disease?
Visionledd believes the church has a responsibility to respond in faith and reach out to the world's
afflicted population as we know Jesus would have done. The churches of Africa are strategically
positioned to represent an army of God's people who are willing and capable of bringing hope
where despair is so prevalent.
With literally tens of thousands of congregations across sub-Saharan Africa, the church is the continent's
single social institution whose reach extends across national, political, social and economic boundaries.
The local congregations:
- are an established force within densely populated cities and the remote villages of sub-Saharan Africa
- are trusted among the natives and have the ability to educate and shape opinions
- can reinforce or dismantle prejudice, motivate behaviour change and empower compassion
- have the resources to respond
- they know the names of those affected by HIV/AIDS
- NEED OUR HELP
