About Us

The ministry of Visionledd began in 1999 when Jim and Kathy Cantelon stepped out in obedience to the Lord's calling to awaken the church in Africa and North America to the HIV/AIDS pandemic. Their vision to see the nation of Africa mobilized and transformed through God's love and compassion has begun through the ministry of Visionledd.

In mobilizing local African leaders and communities, Visionledd is helping to awaken a brilliant light in the dark night HIV/AIDS has brought upon the people of Africa. Jim and Kathy's faithfulness in heeding the Lord’s call has transformed the lives of many orphans and widows, leading the local church in Africa into a period of hope and renewal.

Visionledd partners with the local church in Africa, training leaders and pastors on the foundations of the Christian faith and how to live biblically. Visionledd seeks to motivate, educate, equip, empower and facilitate connections that bring about positive transformation through biblical teachings and practical care in African communities suffering from the devastating effects of HIV/AIDS.

2009 is a year of celebration for Visionledd as we reflect on the victories we have won for the orphans and widows in Africa over the past 10 years. Our ministry and vision is achieved through the generous support of our faithful Canadian and American donors. Through both prayer and partnership Visionledd has become a voice for the voiceless, helping to restore sustainability, righteousness and justice in areas of greatest need. Our work is just beginning as God continues to open doors for us in the fight against the HIV/AIDS.
